I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI. graduating from Hope Protestant Reformed Christian School and Covenant Christian High School. After attending Grand Valley State University for two years, I transferred to Trinity Christian College in Palos Heights, IL (Home of the Trolls!). I graduated in 2000 with a BA in English and a minor in secondary education.

I taught grades 6-9 for two years at Providence Christian School in Kalamazoo, MI before joining the staff here at CCHS in 2002.

I am also a member at Grace PRC.
