I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2009 with a Bachelors Degree in History with a minor in Philosophy. After studying in the Protestant Reformed Seminary for two years, I returned to undergrad studies at Western Governors University to achieve certification in Secondary Education. In 2020, I earned a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at Cornerstone University.  I was hired by CCHS in 2015 after teaching sixth grade for four years at Heritage Christian School in Hudsonville.

At CCHS, I have taught within the Religion, History, and Foreign Language Departments. Currently I teach Church History I (Sophomores), Church History II (Juniors), and New Testament Survey (Freshmen). I also enjoy coordinating our weekly chapels at CCHS.

My wife, Megan, and I have been married for 14 years and have been blessed with three daughters: Bailey, Norah, and Harper. As a family we enjoy camping, hiking, going to the beach, playing soccer, and spending time and playing games with each other. We are members of Zion Protestant Reformed Church.
