Mr. Jim Huizinga
The early days of my life were spent on a farm
in Allendale, Michigan. When I was 16 years
old, my family moved to make room for Grand Valley State University.
After attending Calvin College, I began teaching at Adams Street Christian School in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After 4 years, I accepted a teaching position at Covenant Christian High School in Walker, Michigan.
I have taught American Literature and English Composition at that school for 30 years. I currently teach American Literature, Senior Writing, English 10, and Speech Class.
I am married to Barb and we have 8 children and 14 grandchildren. My hobbies include playing guitar and camping with my family.
