Mr. Rick Noorman

Mr. Noorman is a 1974 graduate of Covenant Christian High School.  He has a BA degree in Business and Economics from Calvin College (1978) and a MA in Educational Leadership
from Western Michigan University (2001).  In
the fall of 1978 he began teaching Business classes, Health, and Physical Education at Covenant Christian High School.  After teaching for four years he left the school for other work
only to return in the fall of 1997 in the position of Administrator/Principal.

Mr. Noorman and his wife, Sue, have been married for 30 years.  They have seven children: Michael (teacher at Heritage Christian School), Joel (teacher at Heritage Christian High School), Denise Uittenbogaard (mom at home), Renae (taken to glory),  David (attending Calvin College), and Taylor (sophomore at CCHS) and Brianna (attending Heritage Christian School).  They have 4 grandchildren. The family attends Faith Protestant Reformed Church in Jenison, Michigan.

Mr. Noorman enjoys reading and talking about Christian education (please feel free to email questions or comments).  He sings with various choirs and groups including the Hope Heralds Male Chorus and the Voices of Victory Quartet.  He also enjoys playing or watching kids play sports of all kinds, camping, and traveling, and cooking for large groups.
