HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY TO JOSIAH DYKSTRA!!

1. HOT LUNCH: Chick-Fil-A will be served today for $5 per sandwich or nuggets. Cash, credit, or debit will be accepted.

2. CHAPEL will be held tomorrow, led by Mr. Eric Pols. We will be on chapel bell schedule.

3. SENIORS: There will be a representative from Western Michigan University (in Kalamazoo) in the library at lunch on Wednesday.

4. Boys basketball: Open gym Wednesday, 7-8:30 PM

5. Student Council meets this week Friday at 7:29 in Mrs. Yeong's room. Don't forget to bring a picture of yourself to the meeting.

6. SENIORS: Each senior is required to bring at least 2 baked goods for the Fall Festival. Please drop off your baked goods/market items to the office this week Friday from 8 am -10 am (labelled with your name). It is very important that you see Miss Kuiper when you're dropping items off so you receive credit! Remember, the more you bring, the more points you earn!

7. SENIOR GIRLS: Reminder that you should pay Andria Dykstra for your powder puff t-shirt ASAP.

8. Attention all students in any sport and/or band - Sign ups for the craft show are now live! There are shifts to help with set up in the days before the craft show, as well as the day of - Saturday, October 28. 9. The theme for the main lobby display case is The Whole Armor of God. This is the theme of the latest Beacon Lights issue. Free copies of the Beacon Lights are available to any student who would like to have one. They are on a table in the main lobby.

10. 2024 YEARBOOKS: When you order a yearbook for this year, please save your confirmation email/receipt for your records. If you order online, confirmation will be immediate. If you order with the paper form at school, confirmation will be sent by the end of the month in which you ordered.

11. SENIORS! If you haven’t already had your Senior pictures taken yet, make sure that gets done soon! Pictures should be .jpeg (not a link), portrait, full-sized, in color, and according to school dress code. Please email to adevries@covenantchristianhs.org

12. JUNIORS: Please sign up by October 12 in the main office for the PSAT test to be held on October 18. Bring $18 at the time of sign-up. (Make checks payable to Covenant Christian High School)

13. Juniors who are considering taking the PSAT in October: Please note that the format has changed to digital. For a summary of changes, check your school email for a summary from Mrs. Bergman. Also note that Khan Academy has totally changed their website and the practice is not where it used to be. You have to go to "courses" and choose "digital SAT." If you have any problems finding this, stop by the Guidance Office for help.
